Wish of non-existence
Have you ever had the feeling where you had no motivation to do anything and wished you didn’t exist? It’s not suicidal; it’s just the wish for non-existence. If you’re nodding along, you might need to change certain habits to start feeling better.
You might already know what you need to change, but you don’t even have the energy to do it. If you ever feel like this while doing something (like a job), you know what you must do. But that feeling is scary.
Because it comes with the feeling of uncertainty. We would rather be miserable and certain than happy and uncertain. That is the resistance at play.
Uncertainty isn’t always bad. It might be the beginning of something exciting or the start of growth.
I remember having this feeling when I started college. I felt powerless, but I joined the debate society, and it led me into a beautiful spiral that opened a new world of possibilities.
