The answer is always no if you don't ask.

Suppose there's something you want to do, but your inner critic is saying it won't work out and it's a waste of time. However, if you apply the same logic, it's pointless not to try because you might get a "yes." By doing this, you can convert a "no" to a "yes."

It can be as simple as changing seats on a train to be with your friends, or as complex as asking for a referral from someone you don't know, or even asking strangers for money in a park in a place where you don't speak the language because you forgot your wallet.

These things may seem nerve-racking at first, but you'll come to see humans in a different light—that most of them are really kind, genuine, and want to help others.

So yeah, if you've been avoiding something because you were afraid of getting a "no," just do it and let me know.
