Next Episode: Satisfaction?
I was watching TV and switching channels as one does. I came across something good, but I didn’t stop, as one does. I kept changing channels to see if there was anything better, as one does.
I know this is pretty laughable and silly to be philosophical about, but I’m going to do it anyway.
We all keep looking for the proverbial greener grass (from my observation). We want jobs that pay better. We want to live in bigger homes. We want to drive better bikes and cars.
But we rarely see how far we have come—or we diminish it. (I’m in a contemplative mood because I’ve been experiencing some troubles.)
I know that, from an evolutionary standpoint, we are wired to look for better things instead of spending all our time appreciating what we have. But I want to know if there is anything more to life.
So my question is: will it ever stop, or will I be looking for greener grass forever?(Not rhetorical)
