My first magical trip to Isha

It was cloudy that day when we left the college. It was the end of orientation, and we decided to go on a trip to the Isha Yoga Centre, situated at the base of a beautiful mountain range.

We boarded the bus and started singing and dancing in the traffic since the destination was one hour away from the college. Then we were just chatting (rankings in shooter games and gadgets), and it started raining as we neared the place.

It was surreal seeing the dark clouds looming over the mountain ranges as we got off the bus. We went around the place, had our lunch (the food was divine), and visited the meditation hall, which was so peaceful with the background sound of rain and wind.

We walked around in the rain, enjoying the wind and taking slo-mo videos of ourselves splashing water. Then we saw the huge Shiva statue and took our group photo.

Even though I have changed colleges and fallen out of touch with many of them, I won't ever forget this. It's a core memory that cannot be erased in this lifetime. The pic

I've visited the place a few more times, and every time this bittersweet memory surfaces, I'm grateful for that.
